Family to Family Provides Resources for New Parents
St. Rose Dominican Hospitals’ Family to Family Connection program offers a variety of free groups and services for parents of children up to 4 years old. This state-wide resource program has six districts that serve southern Nevada. St. Rose Dominican Hospitals' district of the Family to Family program, also known as Las Vegas South, serves children in southern Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City.
Family to Family Services
Hospital & Community Visitations and Classes: Family to Family community educators visit families in the hospital to answer questions about newborn care and breastfeeding. Educators also hold classes and activities at various community locations such as libraries or family resource centers.
New Baby Center: Offers classes, most of which are free, to parents on topics such as parenting, communication, early childhood development, baby and toddler safety, nutrition and playgroups.
Resource Lending Library: Offers books, videos, educational materials and developmental toys.
Car Seat Safety Checks: Car seat safety checks are available by appointment.
Classes & Support Groups: Check the monthly calendar for a schedule of classes, support groups and events.
