Community Programs
St. Rose Dominican Hospitals continues to meet the community’s health needs in a variety of ways based on a commitment to promote wholeness of body, mind and spirit in an atmosphere of collaboration. This past fiscal year (2011), that mission was prominent as St. Rose provided over $47.6 million in community benefits (not including the unpaid cost of Medicare). Including the unpaid cost of Medicare, the net community benefit was $74.6 million.
In late 2011, St. Rose Dominican Hospitals/Dignity Health, the community’s only not-for-profit, religiously sponsored hospital system, made $305,695 in grant awards to 10 nonprofit organizations in Henderson and Las Vegas.
