Nominate a Remarkable Caregiver
Have you received phenomenal treatment from one of your St. Rose Dominican Hospitals nurses?
Nominating a nurse for a DAISY Award is a wonderful way to say thank you, and anyone (patients, staff, physicians or family members) can nominate a nurse for The DAISY Award!

The not-for-profit DAISY Foundation (DAISY is an acronym for Diseases Attacking the Immune System) was established in 2000 by the family of J. Patrick Barnes who passed away at the age of 33 from complications of Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Pupura. Having been touched by the remarkable care, clinical skills and compassion demonstrated by nurses during Patrick's illness, the Barnes family made it their mission to honor exceptional nurses around the country. This nationwide program, co-sponsored by United Healthcare, celebrates excellence in nursing and is now in place at more than 1,000 hospitals across the United States.
St. Rose is proud to be the first hospital in southern Nevada to offer The DAISY Awards program as a special way to recognize our nurses.
