Why: Children’s Miracle Network is the official national platform and charity of both the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen and Miss America Organizations. Jordan Orris, Miss Nevada’s Outstanding Teen, a Henderson resident and student at Green Valley High School, and her class of 2009 Miss America’s Outstanding Teen pageant sisters visited St. Rose Dominican Hospitals – San Martín Campus (the children’s Miracle Network hospital in Las Vegas) to learn how their fundraising dollars are being put to use and changing children’s lives.
