Vice President of Strategy and Market Growth Announced


(April 15, 2011, Henderson, Nev.) – Rod A. Davis, President/CEO of St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, announced today that Shelby Decosta has been named Vice President, Strategy and Market Growth for St. Rose Dominican Hospitals.

Decosta will lead St. Rose’s strategic planning, clinical integration, business development, physician services, marketing and communications, community health and clinical integration activities. Over her career with CHW, Decosta has taken on increasing levels of responsibilities in strategic planning, business development, project management, and physician partnership. In this new role, she will work directly with facility President/CEOs, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Medical Officer; Chief Financial Officer, and others on the St. Rose executive management team to develop and execute growth and physician integration efforts for St. Rose.

Prior to this appointment, Decosta was Vice President of Business Development and Clinical Integration, and Director of Strategy for St. Rose, where she developed and managed capital and operational projects for the system. Decosta’s past experience includes a fellowship with CHW corporate strategy and Kaiser Permanente. Decosta received her Masters in Healthcare Administration and undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California.
