St. Rose Collaborates with K|E for Executive Physicals

(LAS VEGAS; April 19, 2012) – St. Rose Dominican Hospitals and K¦E Centers for Advanced Medicine celebrated the grand opening of its new, collaborative program, The K|E Executive Physical, April 19.

The K|E Executive Physical brings the executive physical concept to the Las Vegas valley. Executives – and southern Nevadans concerned about their health – currently travel hundreds of miles in search of these specialized exams. They now have the convenience of staying or receiving these services in Las Vegas and enjoying the opportunities that the city of Las Vegas offers.

The K|E Executive Physical is a medical exam that focuses on and assesses the health risk stratification of each patient, identifies problems and works to mitigate those risks. Physicians review the patient’s lifestyle, genetic history, medical history, and screening for cardiovascular, pulmonary and endocrine problems. The services are performed in a new, state-of-the art, patient-friendly environment with all ancillary services under one roof. Patients are evaluated by the region’s finest physicians and specialists in exclusive, intimate surroundings.

The K|E Executive Physical offices are located in a new, 20,000-square-foot clinic space directly across the street from St. Rose Dominican Hospitals – San Martín Campus. Services for The K|E Executive Physical are housed in K|E’s medical clinic, but are separate from K|E Centers for Advanced Medicine’s private practice.

Designed to evoke the ambiance and experience of a high-end spa, The K|E Executive Physical is a comprehensive executive physical unlike anything currently offered in the valley. The K|E Executive Physical is that of an outpatient destination clinic designed with the busy and discerning executive – and those patients serious about their health – in mind.

The K|E Executive Physical provides an extensive evaluation of a person’s health status and includes quality time spent with a physician reviewing medical history, discussing health issues and concerns, with a focus on emphasizing prevention, early disease detection, and recommendations for appropriate follow-up care.

“We expect that as residents find out about this resource, The K|E Executive Physical will not only be sought out by southern Nevadans but by discerning patients across the U.S. who are invested in their overall well being,” said Rod Davis, president and CEO of St. Rose Dominican Hospitals and senior vice president of operations, Dignity Health Nevada. “This collaboration is with some of the region’s finest physicians and specialists, each well regarded for their clinical excellence. The diagnostic and treatment offering creates a consolidated, efficient resource for specialty care in the area of annual executive physical examinations and will add a new dimension to the high quality medical services available in southern Nevada.”

As part of The K|E Executive Physical, patients receive a full range of seamless, highly personalized care in a single setting. The facility features the best diagnostic equipment, allowing physicians to help patients focus on prevention, early detection and intervention.

Drs. Robert Koblin and Marc Edelstein, the founders and directors of K|E Centers for Advanced Medicine, are thought leaders in their respective specialties of cardiology and gastroenterology.

“We have been well received already and expect that as patients learn of the executive physical program, they will seek out this highly specialized comprehensive exam,” said Dr. Koblin. “We expect patients from not just the Las Vegas valley – but from across the United States – to seek out these services.”
